The Wood Brothers Worcester Concert reviews
Keep on Chooglin' !!
The Wood Brothers played several tunes from their Latest album "The Blue Ridge Rangers Rides Again". I really enjoyed "Garden Party", "When Will I Be Loved" and the Buck Owens classic, " Just As Long As You Love Me". In addition, they played some tunes I've never heard them play live. "Ramble Tamble" from "Cosmo's Factory" was worth the price of admission all by itself. They also played "Workin' On A Building", "The Night Time Is The Right Time", and a couple of other tunes that freshened up their show.
Their band included a Pedal Steel and a Fiddle and those two additions let them play some of their country stylings. The fabulous Kenny Aronoff was on drums and propelled every song with his amazing drumming. The Buell Theater was a a great venue - great acoustics. This show was very different from past shows.
This was the 5th time I've seen The Wood Brothers in the past 12 years and they're always fantastic !! Of course, they played all of their CCR classics that their fans came to hear. Their energy and enthusiasm were incredible. The band was tight and seemed to be a great time playing this show.
DON'T MISS THIS OPPORTUNITY TO SEE THE WOOD BROTHERS IF THEY COME TO YOUR TOWN. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED !!
